The easiest way to show you how versatile these Inklingo shapes are is to give you a few examples in Electric Quilt

—PLUS—

—the EQ5 project file! That way,you can design your own.

This design can be made with 2, 3, 4, or 6 inch Drunkard’s Trail units from Inklingo.

Imagine each ring made up of many different fabrics in the same color! It would be more lively and interesting, and it would be a great way to use up small scraps.

I could have played with this one longer, but I was anxious to try some other layouts too. That’s the “trouble” with Electric Quilt! The ideas keep coming.

This one uses 3 sizes of Drunkard’s Trail—2 inch, 3 inch, and 6 inch.

In this case, all of the units are colored identically, but different sizes.

I started in the center and added borders. (This approach is described step-by-step HERE.) I also used the Layers tab.

This one can be made with the bonus shapes in the 2, 3, 4, or 6 inch Drunkard’s Trail shape collections.

This bonus shape has only one pieced corner instead of two.

This one can be made with another bonus shape in the  2, 3, 4, or 6 inch Drunkard’s Trail shape collections.

Another bonus shape is provided in each Inklingo Drunkard’s Trail shape collection to give you more options. (Slight variations shown on the website.)
